THERAPY INTENSIVES
Private, half-day therapy virtual intensives located in Ontario
for women ready to go deeper.
You’re ready for meaningful change.
You've done the work. You can name the pattern and tell me exactly where it came from, but still, it keeps repeating.
Maybe you're in weekly therapy and it's been valuable, but you want more time to go deep on one thing. Or you're between therapists and have something specific you're ready to work through.
Either way, you're done waiting for the right moment. You want focused time with someone who knows how to work with what's underneath.
Therapy intensives are private, half-day virtual sessions for women across Ontario who are done circling the same patterns. In 3 to 3.5 hours, we go straight to the root of relational trauma, people-pleasing and burnout using IFS, somatic work and Brainspotting.
Why are intensives effective?
If you've been in therapy, you know the feeling. You're finally getting somewhere and it's time to wrap up. We make a plan to circle back next time, then another thing pops up for the next session.
Some of the most important moments in therapy happen right as the session is ending. You and your therapist wish there was more time. In an intensive, we have time to stay with what’s shifting and go deeper.
In a therapy intensive, you get close to three hours to settle in, go deep and follow what comes up, without losing momentum or momentum.
Some women come for one intensive and that feels like enough for them. Others come back a few times over the year. We'll figure out what makes sense for you during your free consultation.
An intensive might be the right fit if…
You can name your pattern but can't seem to shift it
You keep over-giving in relationships and end up resentful or depleted
You look successful on paper but you're running on empty underneath
Your inner critic is loud and you're terrified of getting it wrong
You never feel like enough, no matter what you accomplish
A difficult relationship with a parent or partner still shapes how you see yourself
Money and worth feel tangled up in ways you can't quite explain
You're in weekly therapy and want dedicated time to go deeper on one thing
You've done IFS or somatic work before and know it works for you
Frequently Asked Questions

The biggest one is time. With close to three hours, we can stay with what comes up instead of pausing it when the session ends.
That extra time gives your nervous system room to settle, which makes deeper work feel safer. We can focus on one pattern from start to finish. It also works well for a full schedule, since you're setting aside one half-day instead of finding a weekly time slot.
You'll leave with a personalized integration plan, so the work keeps going after we're done. It's a different kind of time, built for women who are ready to go deeper.
-
Yes. Intensives work best for women who have done some therapy or self-work already and can name the patterns they want to work on. If you're newer to therapy, weekly sessions are a great place to start, and I'm happy to talk through options with you.
-
This is a common worry, especially for high achievers who are used to pushing through. We go at the pace your nervous system can handle. Using IFS, we check in with your parts along the way and nothing gets forced. You stay in the driver's seat the whole time.
-
It depends on what you're working on. Your goal matters, along with your history and how much support you have in your life right now. Your therapy experience and how well you can ground yourself when things get stirred up also play a role.
Some women come for one intensive. Others come back a few times over the year. Either way, we go at the pace that feels safe for your nervous system. The right pace always matters more than a fast one. Safety is my priority above all.
We'll talk through what makes sense for you on your free consultation, and there's never any pressure to commit to more than one.

Set up a free consultation to make sure an intensive is right for you.
During the 3-hour intensive, we'll clarify your goals and begin the healing process using IFS, Brainspotting, somatic tools,and/or other transformative approaches tailored to your goals, nervous system and pacing needs.
Monitor your progress for 1 week post-intensive and schedule your follow up check in.
Some clients feel this is enough to accomplish their goal, or they may schedule another intensive to continue progress or begin working on another goal.

Intensives are deep work, so the timing needs to be right. The focus is on how steady things feel in your life right now. How complex your history is doesn't rule you out.
An intensive may not be the best fit at the moment if you're experiencing:
Thoughts of suicide or self-harm
Psychosis or hallucinations
Severe dissociation that isn't currently being treated
An eating disorder that feels active or unstable
Active substance use
A living situation that doesn't feel safe
A very recent traumatic event
No previous experience with therapy
If any of these apply, weekly therapy is often the better place to start. It gives you steady support and helps build the foundation that makes deeper work feel safe. When the time is right, an intensive will still be here.
We'll talk through all of this on your free consultation. I'll always be honest with you about what I think will serve you best.
